The procedure aims to obtain volume repositioning or skin tightening in any areas where the threads are placed. Patients with sagging jawline will be given a firmer and more regular contour. Threads can be applied in different parts in the face: face contouring, lower jaw, cheeks and cheekbones, around the eyes, lips and nose.

The aging process, which worsens with age and menopause, is due to the loss of collagen, a protein found in all structures of the body, especially the skin, and which ensures the cohesion, elasticity and regeneration of tissue. The face also loses fats (becoming more skeletal), becoming hollow on the sides, and heaviness accumulates under the chin and lower cheeks.

After the treatment, as with any cosmetic treatment, some slight swelling redness or bruising might be observed, but these disappear within days.
