Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is performed under sedation or general anesthesia in an outpatient procedure without a hospital overnight stay, or you may spend a night at Dr. Nassar Hospital if you want to be pampered by our staff and services.
Breast implants are made of a silicone shell pre-filled with “cohesive silicone gel”. Their consistency is similar to that of the mammary gland. Once the woman is moving, breast implants moves along with her body as natural breasts.
The most common incision used at Dr. Toni Nassar Hospital is the 2-3 cm incision under nipples.
Dr. Nassar inserts the Breast implant through a small incision in a prepared pocket under the muscle or under the mammary glands (mostly under the muscle), or dual plan.
The Implants shape may be round, pear or proposed with a beautiful neckline in a previous consultation.

The Breast augmentation procedure takes 1 hour of time. As for Dr. Nassar “the breast is the symbol of women personality”.
Following a breast augmentation you are required to wear a sports-bra and band for a 2-weeks period.
Resumption of normal activity will be 5 to 7 days from the surgery’s date and sports should be avoided for a 4-weeks period.
After this surgery patients have more confidence in themselves. Women can breast-feed after breast augmentation without any restrictions.
Due to the positioning of the implant under the muscle, it doesn’t interfere with any breast exams or pregnancy, that’s why it is not contra-indicated before pregnancy and all breasts investigations are allowed after breast augmentation.
