Hymenoplasty

In some cultures, women’s hymen can affect her marriage prospects, her family’s reputation, and even her private life. The virginity of the bride is valued for religious, social and even economic reasons.

Hymen is the membrane, which encloses the vaginal area. It’s also known as the outside part, part of the vulva, or the external genital organs.

The goal of this surgery is the reconstruction of the hymen.

Hymen could be broken after:

• Masturbation
• Physically just after the first intercourse

Once healed, the act of sexual intercourse can result in bleeding when the hymen is torn or stretched.
Sexual activity could restart in 3 weeks after the surgery.
